Walking through the Epistles: Teachings of Paul, Peter, and James
Instructor: Evangelist Mike Bell
Course Description: In this series, focusing on Romans, 1st and 2nd Peter, and James, we will be looking at the life and teachings of Paul, Peter, and James and how to apply their writings to our everyday lives.

Interpreting the Scriptures
Instructor: Apostle Lisa McFarland
Course Description: Using Kevin Conner’s “Interpreting the Scripture” as a textbook, this course is designed to look into how individuals interpret the scriptures. This is important because it affects how we read the Bible, preach and teach, and interpret dreams and visions. “The problem is not over revelation and inspiration so much as it is over interpretation and application.” While only Holy Spirit can fully reveal the true meaning of what inspired writers gave us, we are called to “study to show ourselves approved unto God…rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15) Hermeneutics is the study of interpretation and what an author is really saying. We will review some history, principles, and techniques for opening God’s word for ourselves and others.
